Two stacked, elongated volumes integrate architectural form and contemporary coastal living.
The grandness of scale partnered with a well-judged sense of proportion is sensitive to the site and surrounding area. Each distinct zone within the home transitions seamlessly to provide an incredible sense of space and light over the two levels. Natural breezes are taken advantage of via strategically placed windows, allowing cross ventilation and natural temperature control.
The elevated first floor is wrapped in locally sourced timber, left untreated to age naturally. The home is celebrated by its occupants as an environmental and socially conscious approach which has resulted in an enduring destination for family and friends.
