Rhagodia Project

Based on the concept of biophilia, the floorplan of the Rhagodia Project has been intrinsically linked to the outside environs via strategically placed windows to draw nature inward.

Key elements of passive solar design balance thermal mass, orientation and insulation with materials selection to deliver a low carbon home, which achieves long term sustainability and a 7.8-star thermal performance rating.

The 4.8 kW Solar Power system produces an average of 17.7kW/H per day and uses 3.2kW/H – feeding enough electricity back to the grid to power another equivalent sized home.

Native water-saving landscaping, 24sq metres of raised vegetable gardens and a mini orchard add to the holistic approach taken to sustainable living by the homeowners.
