Periwinkle Project

Named after a local crustacean, the Periwinkle Project design promotes harmony with its natural coastal surrounds, while addressing sustainability from construction to the consumption of resources over the life cycle of the home.

The home sits comfortably within the site and actively benefits from its passive solar principals, energy efficiency and environmentally conscious provision of thermal mass.

A compact floor plan has been carefully resolved which balances lightweight construction with provision of thermal mass, all whilst achieving an 8.3-star energy rating.

Periwinkle Project aspires to support an industry change from a legacy of poorly constructed and socially isolated housing estates to the pinnacle of sustainable design and people-oriented developments.
