Inner city homes with limited space present a challenge for any building designer. Reward is in the detail, making clever use of every millimetre whilst optimising functionality and adopting passive solar principles.
With the existing property measuring only 86.07m2, the idea was to transform this tiny abode into a spacious, two-storey home, giving the family more room to breathe, do and connect. Exemplifying contemporary living, the home was extended to include a new kitchen, dining and living area, along with two additional bedrooms and a new bathroom.
